John Kollaras

Director

John Kollaras first joined the business in 2005, although as typical in the family, grew up working across many parts of the business. Whilst completing his university education, John served in roles across the operations, logistics, finance and procurement arms of the business. Formally commencing in the role as Group Managing Director and CEO in 2016, John worked alongside Michael, Tass and the groups leadership team to support the businesses evolution into the 21st century. 

Today, John operates in the business as Executive Director, driving strategic initiatives, long term growth and governance through the Kollaras Group Advisory board, on which John serves. Outside of the Trading Arm, John leads the Kollaras Families investment arm which includes property development, property investment and many broader investments which the family hold.

John is also member of the Young Presidents Organisation and serves on its Executive Committee and has previously served on the NSW Business Chamber Advisory Council and TafeNSW Advisory Council.

Outside of work, John is married to Monika and is a proud Dad to three young children. John loves spending his free time with his family and friends, usually with some good food on the table. John is also an avid cyclist and enjoys the outdoors.
