Made from malted barley, water and yeast, Single Malt Whisky is arguably the finest expression of whisky.
Muirhead’s Silver Seal Maturity is a Speyside Single Malt Whisky distilled in Scotland and made from an ancient recipe and aged in oak barrels for 8 years. Speyside is a whisky producing region in the north eastern corner of Scotland. The region derives its name from the River Spey, which runs through the center and is famous for its salmon fishing and whisky. Speyside’s whiskies tend to be sweeter, lighter in the body and one of the finest in the world. Whisky is the perfect digestif.
The name “Muirhead” means “Head of the Moor”or “Highest point of the Moor”. The bottle is embellished with a silver seal over a plaid ribbon, printed with phrase reading “Auxilio Dei”which according to the distillery translates to “By the help of God”.
