Last week, Kollaras & Co announced that Prosecco brand, Riunite, had been named as a key sponsor for the 2018 LGBTI Awards.
The LGBTI awards are regarded as Australia’s largest award ceremony, celebrating the fantastic achievements of the LGBTI community. This year, the proceedings were held at The Star, Sydney, on Friday March 2; a successful opening to the world-famous Sydney Mardi Gras on Saturday Night.
The LGBTI event was a gala event attended by hundreds of LGBTI leaders, celebrities and organisations, who gathered to applaud the tireless efforts of those within the community.
Big winners on the night included: Magda Szubanski who won the LGBTI Celebrity Award, Casey Dellacqua for Sports Personality and Joel Creasey who won the Presenter award.
Riunite was the official red-carpet sponsor for famous and VIP guests, whilst guests also enjoyed the delicious Prosecco, Lambrusco and Moscato at their tables throughout the night’s proceedings.
Guests also revelled with Riunite in hand at the event after party, as they celebrated those who were formally recognised earlier in the evening.
Kollaras & Co Marketing Manager, Georgia Kollaras, explained: ‘”it was a real coup for the brand, in gaining maximum exposure; The ethos, brand name and tagline of Riunite “This Is R Moment”, all perfectly suited the event and I congratulate all the winners. It’s fantastic to see this event celebrate those with a passion for community and bringing people together.”
Ms. Kollaras also commended the efforts of the marketing team who worked diligently with Australian LGBTI Awards Director, Silke Bader, to pull the project together.
The event celebrated a broad range of categories ranging from charity through to Film and TV, Politics and Sport. The media exposure and attendance by high profile celebrities to the event provided a marketing opportunity that was invaluable says Ms Kollaras.
