ASIA GOES WILD FOR WILD ONE
Last month, Kollaras & Co saw delivery of its first container of Wild One juices to Taiwan, bound for shelves of French supermarket giant Carrefour.
Last week, Taiwan’s market leaders trialled Wild One across 16 Carrefour hypermarkets, which saw excited shoppers enjoy in-store tasting programs, topped by features in Carrefour’s direct marketing catalogues.
With over 1,500 hypermarkets across 30 countries and 120 stores in Taiwan alone, Carrefour is one of the largest hypermarket chains in the world. Specialising in a one-stop-shop model, Carrefour stocks its shelves with the likes of groceries, televisions, sports equipment, fashion, electrical appliances, scooters, alcohol, and even bedding.
Kollaras & Co’s Regional Manager for South East Asia, Simon Pendergast commented, “Over the launch weekend the product recorded strong sales. I visited 12 supermarkets to see Wild One in action and it was a real hit with families. Wild One is cold filled, has a long shelf life, has no added sugar and is a 100% Australian Made product. Following on from the huge success of the product tastings, we were able to further confirm our prediction of there being huge potential for this brand in Asia.”
With Kollaras & Co proudly servicing over 100 countries around the world, they also today proudly confirmed that Wild One will also be available through AUS KHMER as soon as December. AUS KHMER is one of Cambodia’s oldest importers and distributors servicing all regions and channels in The Kingdom of Cambodia.
Adding to the overwhelming success of Wild One in Asia, Kollaras & Co also today, announced news of another distribution agreement in Vietnam. Wild One juices will be proudly imported and distributed in Vietnam by nationwide beverage market leaders, Tan Khoa.
